T Dispersal Unit

 The functional/dysfunctional teapot.

While this teapot does actually function/hold water/dispense tea, that's more for the entertainment of the idea, rather than any sort of practicality.  It's primarily a sculptural object.

materials:

• titanium
• vitreous enamel on titanium
• sterling silver
• braided steel cable
• steel base with paint and patina

height x width x depth: 14 x 8 x 7"  + base

steel base: 4 x 8.5 x 5"

articulation:

• opening lid
• enameled tea strainer 
• cranking the (locking) wheel on top opens valve to dispense tea, once it's steeped
